Revolt Intellicorp has recently announced to reopen bookings for the RV400 electric motorcycle from 21st October 2021 in 70 cities across the nation. Interested customers can register themselves on Revolt's website for notification of the commencement of bookings.
Currently, the Revolt is present across six cities in India: Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. However, given the intense rise in conventional fuel prices, two-wheeler buyers are prominently turning to more electric options. And so, with the start of the fresh bookings, the Revolt will be available in 64 new cities, including Bangalore, Kolkata, Jaipur, Surat, Chandigarh, and many more.
In the other news, the Delhi-based startup has recently introduced the flagship RV400 in a new white color scheme. With this, the e-bike will now be available in three paint options, including the existing Rebel Red and Cosmic Black colors.
Talking about the bike, the Revolt RV400 uses a 3kW mid-mounted motor and a 72V 3.24KWh Lithium-Ion swappable battery pack that offers a maximum riding range of 150km in Eco mode, 100km in Normal mode, and 80km in Sport mode with a top speed of 85km/h. It takes approximately 4.5 hours to charge from 0-100% with a 15V AC charger. However, for last-mile connectivity, you can even swap the battery at the Revolt Swap Station (Revolt Switch).
As for features, the Revolt RV400 is India's first AI-enabled bike that can be operated through the MyRevolt App, which offers connectivity features like keyless start, location tracking, geofence, ECU updates through OTA, satellite navigation, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, etc. You can even change the artificial exhaust sound of the bike from the given 4 options.
The other notable features of the bike include an all-LED lighting system, upside-down forks, a preload-adjustable monoshock, and Combined Braking System (CBS).
Currently, the Revolt RV400 is priced at Rs 90,799 (ex-showroom) in Delhi and Rs 1,06,999 (ex-showroom) in the rest of the cities. It doesn’t have any direct rivals in India. However, you can also check out other premium electric scooters like the Ola S1, Ather 450X, TVS iQube Electric, and the Bajaj Chetak.
