BMW X6 50 Jahre M Edition Launched In India

To mark the 50th-anniversary celebration of its ‘M’ brand, BMW has launched the X6 ’50 Jahre M Edition’ in India at Rs 1.11 crore (ex-showroom).

Now you must be wondering what makes the X6 50 Jahre M Edition Special? Well, for beginners, the special edition X6 gets a distinctive BMW’ Iconic Glow’ kidney grille in high gloss black with the Special 50 Jahre M Emblem, 20-inch M alloy wheels finished in Orbit Gray with M Sport Red High Gloss brake callipers and M high-gloss shadow line. There is also an optional ‘Racer’s Pack’ that adds side decals and spoilers and a Motorsport Pack that includes a key fob made of Alcantara and Carbon Fibre, as well as carbon fibre ORVMs.

Features like Laser headlamps, sports seats, Harman Kardon audio, four-zone climate control, temperature-controlled cup holders, panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, wireless charger, Adaptive M Suspension, M-Sport exhaust system and M Sport brakes are also part of the standard kit.

Since the BMW X6 50 Jahre M Edition is based on the xDrive40i variant, it comes equipped with a high-revving twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre straight six engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. It delivers a maximum power output of 340PS at 5500-6500 rpm and a peak torque of 450 Nm from 1,500 to 5,200 rpm.
