About Audi Q2 SUV
As mentioned earlier, the Q2 is the smallest SUV from Audi. It is based on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform which also underpins many Skoda and Volkswagen cars. The brand has recently revealed its facelift version in the global market.
The Q2 is designed in a typical Audi's manner, having a wide single-frame grille, bold headlamps with integrated DRLs (daytime running lamps), squarish tail lamps, and a plethora of black cladding on the bumpers and around the bottom surface of the car.
As far as the dimensions are concerned, it is 4,191mm long, 1,794mm wide (without ORVMs), 1,508mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,601mm. Its curb weight is around 1,205kg.
Inside the cabin, the Q2 houses A3 hatchback like a minimalist designed dashboard, featuring MMI Navigation Plus infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity support, a rotary knob in the centre console, and a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front powered seats, wireless charging and Bang & Olufsen sound system, and many other plush features to lure you.

Under the hood, the Indian-spec Q2 will house a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine (190PS/320Nm), mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system (AWD). It can sprint from standstill to 100kmph in just 6.5 seconds and offers a top speed of 228kmph.
Audi Q2 doesn't have any primary competitors in India. It will be slotted below the other entry-level SUVs such as BMW X1 and Volvo XC40. It is likely to be priced between Rs 35-45 lakh (ex-showroom).
