As we are about to enter the new financial year tomorrow, JSW MG Motor India has announced that it will increase the prices of its ICE and electric cars by up to 2 percent, effective from April 2026. The price hike will be applicable to all MG cars, except for the Cyberster and M9, which are sold through the brand’s premium MG Select dealerships. As per the brand, the price hike is mainly to partially offset the rising input costs and operational expenses.
For your reference, here’s a look at the current model-wise pricing of all MG cars sold in India: –
| Model | Price range |
| Comet EV | Rs 7.5-10 lakh |
| Astor | Rs 9.79-15.3 lakh |
| Windsor EV | Rs 14-18.5 lakh |
| Hector | Rs 11.99-18.99 lakh |
| Hector Plus | Rs 17.29-19.49 lakh |
| ZS EV | Rs 17.99-20.5 lakh |
| Gloster | Rs 38.33-43.16 lakh |
| M9 | Rs 70.90 lakh |
| Cyberster | Rs 75 lakh |
It is worth noting that the MG Comet EV, Windsor EV and ZS EV are also available with a battery rental program, which decreases the overall upfront cost by a huge margin.
