Engine and Underpinnings

At the heart of the Continental GT 650 is Royal Enfield’s tried-&-tested 648cc parallel-twin air-cooled counterbalanced motor that churns out 47PS of power at 7150rpm and a peak torque of 52.3Nm at 5250rpm. It gets a 6-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch.

It is underpinned by a steel tubular double-cradle frame developed in collaboration with Harris Performance, works with telescopic front forks and gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers to deliver the poised, confidence-inspiring ride that is synonymous with the Continental GT.
