Bookings Open For 2022 Maruti Vitara Brezza At Dealership Level

  • Unofficial bookings are now open for the new-gen Vitara Brezza.

Waiting for the new-generation Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza to launch? Your wait will end soon as the brand is likely to launch the upgraded SUV next month. In fact, select dealerships have also commenced accepting its offline bookings at their level for a token amount of Rs 11,000. 

For those who aren’t aware, the new-gen Vitara Brezza will welcome a complete design overhaul, plenty of new features, and an updated powertrain. Revealed by the numerous spy images, the new Brezza will feature a more rugged and sporty design. Upfront, it will get a new blacked-out grille with chrome inserts, new twin-pod LED headlamps integrated with L-shaped DRLs, chunkier-looking dual-tone bumper with a faux skid plate.

The overall profile of the 2022 Vitara Brezza will remain similar to its existing model. However, it will get a large quarter glass panel and new alloys. The rear profile, however, will receive more critical changes in the form of a new sculpted tailgate with the ‘B R E Z Z A’ lettering, new sleeker LED tail lamps, and revamped bumper with prominent cladding & skid plate.

Things will be more overwhelming inside the cabin. Having said that, the next-gen Brezza will feature a new layered dashboard layout with a floating touchscreen infotainment system taking centre stage. In terms of features, the SUV is expected to come equppied with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, an advanced version of Suzuki Connect tech, a single-pane electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, an Arkamys-tuned sound system, a 360-degree surround view system, paddle shifters, up to six airbags, a head-up display, etc.

Underneath the bonnet, the new Brezza will house a new 103PS/137Nm 1.5-litre K15C petrol mill with a 12-volt mild-hybrid system and idle start/stop technology, paired with the existing 5-speed manual and a new & more sophisticated 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission that will replace the ongoing 4-speed unit. The brand is also expected to offer the new-gen SUV with a CNG powertrain at a later stage.
