The much-awaited Honda QC3 electric scooter has finally been launched in India at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). It is Honda’s third electric offering in the country, which was revealed in July this year as part of its broader product plans for the country. Initially, the QC3 is restricted for sale in five cities across the country: Agra, Delhi, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam, with a nationwide rollout to follow in a phased manner.
Bookings for the e-scooter are already underway for Rs 5,000, while clarity about its delivery timeline is yet to come.
Honda QC3 – Battery, Range and Charging Time
The QC3 is a family electric scooter which get a fixed-type 3kWh battery that claims 145km of IDC range on a full charge. Unlike Honda’s first two electric offerings, the Activa e: and QC1, the new QC3 comes with a portable plug-in charger that enables users to charge the scooter using a standard power socket, adding greater flexibility for daily usage. That said, it can be juiced up to full in roughly 4 hours, and a 0 to 80% charge can be done in just 2 hours 40 minutes.

Honda QC3 – Design, Underpinnings and Features
In terms of design, the QC3 somewhat resembles the Honda QC1, carrying forward the same clean design, albeit with slightly tweaked styling cues. The key design bits include an apron-mounted LED headlight with a DRL strip, flat floor board, split grab handles and LED taillight.
Speaking of the underpinnings, the Honda QC3 rides on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends, with a conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers taking care of the suspension duties. For anchoring, there is a front disc and rear drum brake setup with CBS (Combined Braking System).
Regarding features, the scooter gets amenities like an LED lighting system, a smart key fob, multiple riding modes, a reverse mode, a 5-inch TFT rider’s display with Honda RoadSync connectivity support, which enables features like navigation, topple alert, maintenance alert, call & music control, live tracking, and OTA updates support.

Honda QC3: Colour Options
The QC3 is available in four triple-tone colour options: Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue, Matt Photon Grey Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue.Â

In the Indian market, the QC3 will lock horns with the TVS iQube 3.1 kWh variant, Ather Rizta, Bajaj Chetak 3503, and the BGaus C12 Max R.
