Hyundai Creta Got Dearer By Up To Rs 19,600

Hyundai Motors India has once again increased the prices of its best-seller Creta compact SUV. Earlier, the prices were increased in January 2021. While the previous price hike was quite significant, the latest price revision is comparatively lenient. However, if we combine both January & April's price premium, the Creta has become expensive by up to Rs 50,600 in the year 2021.

  • Hyundai has uniformly increased the prices of Creta's all variants except for the base-spec E trim.
  • While the asking rates of E petrol trim remain unchanged, the E diesel has received the highest price hike of Rs 19,600. With this, the Hyundai Creta now ranges between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 17.62 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). 
  • Besides the price revision, no other changes have been made to the SUV. It will continue to be offered with three engine options, which includes a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115PS/144Nm), a 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm), and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol (140PS/242Nm) unit.

  • The features list of the car also remains unchanged. Highlights of the Creta's key features include split LED headlamps and tail lamps setup, panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, BlueLink connected car tech, apple carplay and android auto smartphone compatibility, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, air purifiers, auto climate control, rear AC vents, six airbags, ESC, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, etc. 
  • In the compact SUV segment, the Hyundai Creta is positioned against the likes of Kia Seltos, Maruti S-Cross, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, and the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq
