Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 Unveiled; Launch Soon

Harley-Davidson has finally taken the wraps off its upcoming cruiser motorcycle, the Sprint 440. Developed in partnership with Hero MotoCorp, the bike will be sold across global markets, with availability and launch timelines varying by region.

Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 – Design, Colours and Underpinnings

  • The Sprint 440 gets a familiar Harley-Davidson classic cruiser design, featuring a round suspended headlamp upfront, a sculpted fuel tank, a single-piece fastback-style seat, and a bobbed rear fender. Other design highlights include machined engine detailing, 10-spoke alloy wheels and a tapered exhaust muffler.
  • The motorcycle will be offered in three colour options: Dark Billiard Grey, Vivid Black and Teal Thunder. All of these shades feature orange tank graphics with a checkered pattern and Harley-Davidson branding.

  • Speaking of the underpinnings, the Sprint 440 gets a 43mm inverted fork setup (130mm of travel) and twin rear shocks with 7-step preload adjustment (76mm of travel).
  • It rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, shod in 100-section front and 150-section rear tyres.
  • Anchoring duties are handled by a 320mm front disc with a twin-piston calliper and a 240mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper, assisted by dual-channel ABS as standard.
  • Tipping the scales at 187kg, the Sprint 440 has a seat height of 683mm, making it accessible to a wider range of riders.

Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 – Other Features

Aside from the above-mentioned features, the Sprint 440 also gets all-LED lighting, a USB Type-C charging port, and a circular instrument cluster pod with a 3.5-inch TFT display that shows essential riding information, including speed, engine rpm, odometer and trip details.

India Launch Timeline and Rivals

Harley-Davidson hasn’t provided any clarity yet on the Sprint 440’s India launch. However, we expect it to hit our shores in the near future. Upon its arrival, it is expected to rival the likes of the Honda Rebel 300 and Royal Enfield Meteor 350.
