2027 Triumph Tiger 1200: Price
| Triumph Tiger 1200 | Ex-Showroom Price |
| GT Pro | Rs 20.99 lakh |
| Rally Explorer | Rs 23.49 lakh |
The Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro variant is priced at Rs 20.99 lakh, while the Rally Explorer costs Rs 23.49 lakh (ex-showroom). For reference, the outgoing MY24 Tiger 1200 Rally Pro and GT Explorer are priced at Rs 20.79 lakh and Rs 20.89 lakh, respectively.
2027 Triumph Tiger 1200: Engine Specifications
The Tiger 1200 continues to use the same 1160cc, liquid-cooled, 3-cylinder engine as the outgoing model. However, the brand has worked on its internals, such as the cylinder head, pistons and exhaust. It has also been fitted with lighter intake and exhaust valves, along with a more precise fuel injection. As a result, it now produces 158PS at 9,250 rpm, which is 8PS more than the previous model. However, the torque output remains unchanged at 130Nm.
The increased low-speed torque and revised primary & final-drive ratios also bring down the crawl speed by 6 kmph.

New Hardware & Underpinnings
Both variants now use a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination. That said, the 21-inch option is no longer available. For suspension duties, the bike gets semi-active Showa EERA Heightflex units, with a 49mm USD fork and a monoshock, having 200mm of travel at both ends. The system also features a self-levelling preload function and uses inputs from various sensors, including a 6-axis IMU, to adjust compression and rebound damping.
For anchoring duties, the bike gets twin discs at the front with Brembo Stylema callipers and a single disc at the rear. It also features an automatic ride-height adjustment function, which can lower the seat height by 30mm while coming to a stop, making it easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces. Its seat can further be reduced to 790mm with the two-position seat adjustment and the new low seat accessory.
The GT Pro has a kerb weight of 250kg, while the Rally Explorer tips the scales at 268kg.
Features Onboard
Regarding features, the motorcycle gets a 7-inch touch-enabled TFT console with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a waterproof phone compartment, a Type-C charger, bidirectional quickshifter, cornering ABS and traction control. It also features a radar-based active safety suite from Bosch with amenities like blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and emergency brake assist.
The GT Pro variant also gets seven riding modes, while the Rally Explorer adds an Off-road Pro mode, bringing the total to eight. The Rally Explorer mode also gets a tyre pressure monitoring system, an engine guard, lower & upper engine bars, handlebars positioned 10mm higher and 10mm wider, along with an adjustable folding brake pedal.
Competition Check
The Triumph Tiger 1200 serves as an affordable alternative to the BMW R 1300 GS and the Ducati Multistrada V4.
