Tata Motors is all set to unveil the facelifted Punch EV on February 20, 2026. Recently, its ICE version has undergone a facelift update, and we expect the Punch EV facelift to draw its design inspiration from it.
2026 Tata Punch EV Facelift: Design Updates
The 2026 Punch EV is likely to receive subtle cosmetic changes rather than a full redesign. Expect reworked bumpers, new alloy wheel designs, and a refreshed colour palette similar to the Punch ICE, following Tata’s new colour naming strategy.
One of the key visual updates could be at the rear, where the Punch EV is expected to get connected LED tail lamps, replacing the current setup. This will help differentiate the facelifted model and give it a more premium look.
Up front, signature EV elements such as connected LED DRLs, a front-mounted charging lid, and aerodynamically designed alloys are expected to continue.

2026 Tata Punch EV Facelift: Interior & Features
Inside, the overall dashboard layout of the Punch EV facelift is likely to remain largely unchanged. However, Tata Motors may introduce new upholstery themes and minor dashboard tweaks to keep things fresh.
A major upgrade could be the addition of a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, borrowed from the Nexon EV. Other features are expected to be carried forward, including:
- Rain-sensing wipers
- Auto headlamps
- 10.25-inch digital driver’s display

Safety & ADAS
Safety equipment is expected to remain strong, with features such as six airbags, ESC, ISOFIX anchors, hill hold assist and rear parking sensors.
Notably, Tata could introduce ADAS features on the Punch EV, as the ICE version already has provision for radar hardware.
