2026 Tata Punch EV Facelift Revealed; Launch On Feb 20

Tata Motors is all set to launch the Punch EV Facelift on February 20. But ahead of its arrival, the carmaker has released an official image of the upcoming SUV, revealing the front-quarter profile of the SUV.

2026 Tata Punch EV – What’s New?

  • From the official image shared by Tata Motors, it is clear that the 2026 Punch EV facelift gets subtle design updates.
  • At the front, the Punch EV now features a new bumper that gives it a cleaner and less cluttered look compared to the current model. The earlier version had many sharp cuts and design elements, which have now been toned down.
  • This update also brings slightly larger headlamps with black surrounds and a new textured finish for the faux skid plate. The large lower air intake with vertical slats remains, along with the centrally placed charging port.
  • The side profile remains mostly unchanged, retaining the muscular wheel arches, thick body cladding and the rear door handles mounted on the C-pillar.
  • One small update on the sides is the replacement of the old ‘.ev’ badge with Tata’s new ‘Tata.ev’ branding on the front doors.
  • Tata has also continued with the same 16-inch alloy wheels, though they now get minor changes to the gloss-black finish.
  • Tata has not yet revealed the rear design, but the Punch EV facelift is expected to get connected LED taillamps, along with revised bumpers.
  • The teaser image also hints at a new bright yellow colour option, which should help the Punch EV stand out.

2026 Tata Punch EV – Interior and Features

While we are yet to see the interior of the new Tata Punch EV, it is expected to retain the current dashboard layout, with new seat upholstery, a larger infotainment system, and extended thigh support. It is also expected to receive a level-2 ADAS suite, along with front parking sensors.

Battery Options and Range

We do not expect any major changes, save for a slight bump in the overall range. For reference, the Punch EV is currently available with two battery pack options: 25 kWh and 35 kWh, with a claimed range of 315km and 421km, respectively. Here’s a look at their specifications: –
