2026 Mahindra XUV 7XO Pre-bookings Opening From Dec 15

Mahindra has announced that the pre-launch bookings for the facelifted XUV700 (now called the XUV 7XO) will commence from December 15, 2025, at 12 PM, for a token amount of Rs 21,000. Its prices will be announced on January 5, 2026.

The homegrown carmaker has also confirmed that the pre-booking option will be available across all Mahindra dealerships and the company’s online channels. Buyers will also be contacted by their preferred dealerships once test drives, display units and deliveries begin.

2026 Mahindra XUV 7XO (XUV700 Facelift) – What To Expect?

Revealed by the teasers, the facelifted XUV700 will get a gloss black grille, new headlight and tail lamp setup, along with restyled bumpers and a new aerodynamically optimised alloy design.

The colour palette of the SUV will get a few new colour options.

Inside, the XUV 7XO is expected to receive major changes in the form of a revised dashboard layout featuring redesigned air con vents and HVAC panels, along with the triple screen setup as the XEV 9S and XEV 9e, consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a centre touchscreen infotainment and a co-passenger entertainment display.

It is also likely to get amenities like a powered co-passenger seat, power BOSS mode for the co-passenger seat, rear window sunshades, sliding 2nd-row seats with ventilation function, multi-colour ambient lighting and a new Harmon Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos support.

Mahindra could also upgrade the connected car suite and level-2 ADAS tech with new features.

Expected Price and Rivals

While the pricelist of the XUV 7XO will be revealed on January 5th, we expect it to range between Rs 13.50 lakh and Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it will continue to be pitted against the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.
