2026 Renault Duster Mileage Figures Revealed

The 2026 new-gen Renault Duster has finally been launched in India, with prices starting from Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is offered with three engine options: 1-litre turbo-petrol, 1.3-litre turbo-petrol and 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol with a strong-hybrid system. Among these, the claimed fuel efficiency figures of the 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is expected to be the most popular choice among buyers, have been revealed.

Renault Duster 1.3-litre Turbo Petrol Mileage

According to Renault, the 1.3-litre Turbo TCe 160 engine is claimed to deliver an impressive fuel efficiency of 18.45 km/l with the DCT automatic transmission and 17.75 km/l with the 6-speed manual transmission. Notably, this engine is also the most powerful in its segment, producing 163PS of max power and 280Nm of peak torque, making it a strong highlight of the new Duster’s powertrain lineup.

Renault Duster: Price, Variants and Key Features

The 2026 Renault Duster is being offered in five variants, Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+ and Iconic, with prices for the turbocharged petrol variants ranging between Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The French automaker is also offering a special Launch Edition trim based on the top-spec Iconic variant. The brand is yet to reveal prices for the strong-hybrid variants.

Speaking of the features, Renault has equipped the new Duster up to the brim, with key highlights including automatic LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment with connected car tech, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, powered front seats with ventilation function, manual lumbar support for the driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, front & rear parking sensors, six airbags, ISOFIX anchors and level-2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

In the hotly congested mid-size SUV segment, the Duster is pitted against the Maruti Grand Vitara & Victoris, Toyota Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, and the upcoming Nissan Tekton.
