Suzuki Teases New Scooter, Burgman 125 Could Get An Update

Suzuki India has teased a new scooter from its official social media handles, revealing a set of split LED headlamps, along with a tag line “STAY TUNED FOR ONE AND ONLY”. While the brand hasn’t shared any details about the upcoming model, the shape of the headlamp suggests it could be a refreshed version of the Burgman Street 125 or a new model in the Burgman family. It will be launched on April 2nd, 2026.

New-gen Suzuki Burgman 125?

The strongest possibility is a refreshed version of the Suzuki Burgman Street 125. And since it shares its underpinnings with the Suzuki Access 125, which has recently undergone a generational update, the Burgman is also expected to follow suit with an all-new design and added features. Some mechanical changes are likely as well.

The update is expected to focus on making the Burgman a more premium offering to stay competitive in the 125cc segment. Expect additions such as a new TFT instrument cluster with better connectivity features and possibly enhanced convenience elements.

The design could also see a noticeable overhaul, while still retaining the maxi-scooter styling that sets the Burgman apart from its rivals.

On the mechanical front, while the core engine setup is expected to remain the same, Suzuki could introduce refinements for improved efficiency and smoother performance.

Once launched, the updated Burgman Street 125 will continue to rival TVS NTorq 125 and Yamaha Aerox 155, while aiming to strengthen its position as a more premium alternative for urban buyers.
