MG Hector Facelift Front Design Leaked; Gets Massive Chrome Grille

The mid-size SUV segment is set to heat up again with the launch of the Hector facelift and petrol-powered Harrier & Safari. While prices of the Tata SUVs are set to be revealed soon, undisguised images of the 2026 MG Hector have surfaced on the web ahead of its official unveiling on December 15, 2025.

MG Hector Facelift: Chrome Overloaded

The 2026 Hector facelift holds its bold appearance thanks to the massive hexagonal grille. However, it now features new chrome-heavy elements forming a honeycomb-like pattern. While LED DRLs and headlamps continue to be split units, the front bumper design has been redone, along with a restyled chrome insert at the bottom.

Other Expected Changes

While it is not official, expect the facelifted Hector to also get redesigned alloy wheels and a redesigned rear bumper for added freshness to its overall design.

A few minor changes are also expected inside the cabin, in the form of a new cabin scheme, revised upholstery, updated infotainment with revised graphics, and new features like a more intuitive sound system, memory function for the driver seat, along with a wireless charger for rear occupants and an improved connected car tech experience.
