Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelift iteration of the AMG G 63 in India, with prices starting from Rs 3.60 crore (ex-showroom). The iconic SUV receives subtle design changes both inside and outside, along with an active suspension setup and a mild hybrid system underneath the hood.
All 120 units of the new G 63 are already reserved, and bookings are now for deliveries scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2025.
2024 Mercedes-AMG G 63 Facelift – Design and Features
- The facelifted Mercedes G63 retains its iconic boxy silhouette, but now gets more aggressively styled bumpers, along with blacked-out grille and Mercedes logo.
- It also features a new design for alloys, giving it a fresh appeal. Buyers also get an option to upgrade to 22-inches wheels. Furthermore, there are AMG-specific flared wheel arches and 29 unique MANUFAKTUR colour options to choose from.
- Inside, the cabin has been more premium with the use of Nappa leather upholstery, carbon fibre accents, customisable ambient lighting, and 31 MANUFAKTUR interior themes.
- It features a new steering wheel, dual 12.3-inch screens with updated software, an enhanced off-road cockpit displaying vital statistics, and augmented reality integrated into the navigation system.
- Other notable creature comforts include an 18-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system, 3-zone auto AC, a sunroof, entertainment screens for the rear passengers, powered front seats with ventilation function, and AMG active air suspension which enhances the ride comfort and off-roading prowess of the SUV.
- Its safety kit comprises multiple airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, traction control, and a 360-degree camera with blind spot assist. It also gets an updated ADAS suite with features like active brake assist and lane keep assist.
