2023 Hyundai Verna Rear Design Revealed – Check Images

A production-spec version of the 2023 Hyundai Verna was spotted on public roads once again, this time with its rear end in good view. The front and side profiles of the upcoming sedan have already been revealed through official sketches.

Evident by the bulky side haunches, low-loading lip, and sharp creases, the next-generation Hyundai Verna resembles the global-spec Hyundai Elantra from the rear. This car has an elegant LED tail lamp design that is well complemented by the car’s sleek connected light bar that covers the width of the car.

2023 New Hyundai Verna

The 2023 Hyundai Verna will be a more premium offering than its outgoing model. Based on the Sensuous Sportiness design language, it will feature a new & bigger front grille flanked by tri-element LED headlamps, with a thin LED DRL positioned just below the bonnet line. Besides, there’s a radar housed within the bumper that firmly indicates that the upgraded sedan will also feature Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

While we are yet to see clear images of its interiors, the earlier leaked images suggest that the updated Verna will get a single housing for the digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system. The sedan could also receive a dual-zone climate control system and more advanced connected car technology, whereas features like four airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill hold assist, etc., are likely to be offered as standard fitments across its variant lineup.

2023 next-gen Hyundai Verna

As far as the engines are concerned, the new-gen Hyundai Verna will be equipped with a 1.5-litre Naturally Aspirated (NA) petrol and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Creta. While a 6-speed manual transmission will be standard, the NA will get the choice of a CVT, whereas the turbocharged unit will come with an optional 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission unit. Both of these engines will comply with the upcoming BS6 Phase-II emission norms.

Hyundai will offer the new Verna in four variants: EX, S, SX and SX (O). Its bookings are already underway for a sum of Rs 25,000, and it’s ready to hit our shores on March 21, 2023.
