2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 Likely To Be Launched On April 21

  • New XL6 is likely to be launched on April 21.
  • Expected to receive minor cosmetic enhancements and a few new features.
  • A more efficient petrol engine, along with a new automatic transmission could also be on the cards.
  • Price to go up significantly.

Maruti Suzuki is all set to give the Ertiga and its premium version, the XL6, a much-needed mid-life update soon. While the facelifted Ertiga is expected to be launched by mid-April, the upgraded XL6 could hit the market on April 21.

2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 – Expectations

Revealed by the earlier spy images, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 is likely to receive a revised front grille, new alloy wheels, and updated LED headlamps & taillamps, which are likely to feature new Nexa signature lights that recently debuted with new-age Baleno. Apart from that, it is likely to remain similar to the ongoing model.

Inside, the new XL6 could receive a larger 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the older 7-inch unit. Besides, Maruti could also play with new colours to give it a fresh appeal.

Under the hood, the 2022 Maruti XL6 may receive a more efficient DualJet version of the ongoing 105PS 1.5-litre petrol engine, paired with a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Besides, a 5-speed manual gearbox will be retained from the existing model.

Considering all the above mentioned changes, the prices of the new XL6 will certainly increase by a decent margin. Currently, the rugged-looking MPV retails between Rs 10.14 lakh to Rs 12.02 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), rivaling the likes of Mahindra Marazzo and Kia Carens.
