2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift – What’s New?

1. Cosmetic Changes

The exterior of the 2022 Hyundai Venue receives plenty of cosmetic changes. It looks bolder and sharper than its outgoing model. Inspired by Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness design language, it gets a new ‘Parametric Jewel’ pattern grille bathed in dark chrome. There are also upgraded upper lighting elements as well as a new front dual-tone bumper with a faux skid plate.

In profile, the urban SUV retains its boxy silhouette. However, it gets newly designed 16-inch machine-cut alloy wheels. The rear profile of the new Venue is quite polarising, featuring new connected LED taillamps and a restyled bumper with prominent black cladding.

2. Premium Interior; New features

The facelifted Hyundai Venue gets the same dashboard design as its previous model, albeit wrapped in a new black & greige dual-tone theme giving its cabin a more premium appeal. The SUV now also gets a new steering wheel and digitized instrument cluster that seems to be borrowed from the Hyundai i20.

In terms of features, the infotainment system of the facelifted Venue now supports multiple user profiles and 10 regional languages for enhanced user experience. It also gets improved BlueLink connected car tech with a new feature called “Home to Car (H2C)” that will enable customers to control various vehicle functions like remote AC control, door lock/unlock, vehicle status check, find my car, tire pressure, and fuel level information, etc., right from the comfort of their homes via Alexa & Google Voice Assistant. Interestingly, it supports both English and Hindi languages.

Besides, 4-way powered driver’s seat (segment’s first), armrest integrated air purifier, ambient nature sounds (6 options), ventilated front seats, new drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport), and the segment’s first two-step reclining rear seats are also part of the kit.
