Skoda Kylaq Sportline Launched At Rs 11.32 Lakh

Skoda India has expanded the Kylaq range by introducing the new Sportline variant, with prices starting from Rs 11.32 lakh (ex-showroom). It is essentially a sporty variant of the SUV with a host of visual enhancements over the standard model. Skoda has positioned it between the Signature+ and Prestige variants of the SUV.

Skoda Kylaq Sportline – What’s New?

As mentioned above, the new Kylaq Sportline brings a host of cosmetic changes over the standard model to give the SUV a more sporty appearance. That said, the SUV features a glossy black finish for the front & rear diffusers, LED projector headlamps at the front and Deep Black coloured roof & side mirrors. Furthermore, its blacked-out 17-inch alloy wheels, black branding on the tailgate, Sportline badge, rear spoiler with finlets, and C-pillar Sportline sticker complete its distinctive look.

Inside, the Kylaq Sportline boasts a dark, performance-inspired cabin theme, with leatherette seats featuring Sportline labels on the headrests. Furthermore, the contrast stitching and aluminium pedals add to the sporty ambience.

For buyers who want to further increase the Kylaq’s distinctiveness, Skoda has introduced a dedicated Sportline Accessories Package for them. This pack includes a Front Bumper Corner Garnish, Front Grille Garnish in Dark Chrome, Fender Garnish with Å koda logo and Body Side Moulding in Glossy Black, allowing owners to give their Kylaq an even more personalised road presence.

Regarding features, the Skoda Kylaq Sportline comes equipped with amenities like automatic LED projector headlamps, rear defogger, keyless entry with push button start/stop, cooled glovebox, auto AC, rear AC vents, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, height adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting, wireless charging, an electric sunroof, tilt & telescopic steering, 6 airbags, ESC, and much more, bringing everyday comfort and modern convenience to the cabin.

Variants Enrichment

In addition to the introduction of the Kylaq Sportline variant, Skoda has now also made amenities like rear defogger and automatic climate control as part of the standard feature set across the variant lineup.

Skoda Kylaq: Engine Specifications

Powering the Skoda Kylaq is a 1-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that makes out 115PS of max power and 178Nm of peak torque. It comes paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Competitors

In the hotly contested sub-4m SUV segment, the Skoda Kylaq locks horns with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, and the Maruti Brezza, which has recently undergone a facelift update.
