The eC3 is marginally longer than the Punch EV. Nevertheless, the Tata SUV excels in terms of greater width and height, providing distinct advantages for interior space. - While Tata offers the Punch.ev in two range options, the Citroen eC3 comes with a sole 29.2kWh battery pack, which claims slightly more range than Punch’s Standard version.
- Both range options of the Tata Punch.ev offer better power output and have a higher top speed than the eC3.
- Regarding charging, the Punch EV and eC3 share identical charging times when using a 50 kW DC fast charger. However, with the 3.3 kW charger, both the eC3 and Punch STD range options require approximately 10 hours of charging time. Which EV Should You Buy?
The Tata Punch.ev stands out as a more value-for-money offering than the Citroen eC3. Priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the base variant of the Punch.ev is Rs 62,000 more affordable than the base variant of the eC3. And despite that, it gets features like LED headlamps, a cooled glovebox, automatic AC, an air purifier, six airbags, ESC, tyre pressure monitor, hill hold, City & Sport driving modes and multi-mode regenerative braking. Surprisingly, these features are not available even in the top-spec variant of the Citroen eC3, priced at Rs 13 lakh.
