The Maruti Suzuki Jimny has created a lot of buzzes since its 3-door version was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. Interested buyers and enthusiasts can now experience the car first-hand. Before its launch in mid-2023, Maruti Suzuki will exhibit the 5-door model at Nexa dealerships throughout the country.

The Lifestyle Vehicle
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is essentially a 4-seater lifestyle vehicle, which will be offered in two variants, powered by a 105PS 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It gets a four-wheel-drive system as standard.
Maruti will equip the SUV with cruise control, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, automatic climate control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, six airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, hill descent control, brake assist, and a rearview camera.

The new Maruti Suzuki SUV will contest against the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha, with launch prices expected to begin from around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
