Hyundai Alcazar Variant Lineup Rejigged – Prestige And Prestige (O) 6-Seater Petrol Variants Discontinued

Following a lower demand, Hyundai Motors has kicked off the 6-seater Prestige and Prestige (O) petrol variants from its lineup. With this, the Prestige and Prestige (O) trims are now only available in a 7-seater layout. However, their diesel counterparts will continue to be offered with both 6-and 7-seating configurations. Here's a look at the updated variant list of the Alcazar three-row SUV with their pricing: –

Despite the discontinuation of the aforementioned 6-seater petrol variants, the Hyundai Alcazar will continue to be priced between Rs 16.30 lakh to Rs 20.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by two engines: 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol (159PS/191Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm). Both get the choice of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. 

The SUV features a host of premium equipment like an all-LED lighting system, automatic headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, smart key with push-button start, remote engine start with smart key, auto climate control with rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay & Android Auto, BlueLink connected car tech with OTA maps updates, wireless smartphone charging, 10.25-inch multi-display digital cluster, 8-speakers Bose premium sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, electronic parking brakes with auto-hold, paddle shifters, multiple driving (Eco, City, Sport) & traction modes (Snow, Sand, Mud), auto air-purifier with AQI display, cruise control, 6-airbags, blind-view monitoring system, 360-degree camera, front & rear parking sensors, and much more. 

The Hyundai Alcazar locks horns with the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and the recently launched Mahindra XUV700.
