Yamaha FZ S FI V3 Gets A New Vitange Edition Variant

Yamaha Motor India has launched a new Vintage Edition of its highly popular FZ-S Fi V3 motorcycle in India. It is an amalgam of vintage theme & new technology in a bid to lure the younger audience. This new trim is priced at Rs 1,09,700 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 2,000 more than the Dark Knight variant.

The new Yamaha FZ-S Fi V3 Vintage Edition features timeless vintage graphics and British racing green colour with a tan brown single-piece two-level seat. Besides this, it gets the same set of features as the Darknight trim, which mainly includes chrome duct plating, LED headlights, midship muffler cover, engine cowl, 13L fuel tank, negative LCD instrument cluster with trip meter, clock, ECO indicator, and Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X technology that enable the rider to access features like E-Lock, Locate My Bike, Answer Back, Hazard lamp, individual trip details, and live location using GPS.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Motofumi Shitara, Chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of companies said-

“We are committed to offering better motorcycling experiences to the customers in India. Today we have introduced the Vintage edition in our FZS-FI variant with smart features like Bluetooth connectivity. We will continue to bring more such excitement for the biking enthusiasts in future, eventually as we rev up the entire line up of our motorcycles.”

Mechanically, the bike is identical to the regular variants i.e. the Vintage Edition also draws its power from the Blue Core concept-driven 149cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, delivering a maximum power output of 12.4PS at 7,250rpm and a peak torque output of 13.6 Nm at 5,500rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.

As far as the underpinnings are concerned, the Yamaha FZ-S sports telescopic front forks and a 7-Step adjustable rear monocross absorber, suspended on the 17-inch alloy wheel at both ends. The other specification of the bike are as follows:
