The month of July 2025 witnessed some exciting launches, including the Tesla Model Y, Kia Carens Clavis EV, MG M9, MG Cyberster, Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Editions, new-gen BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, facelifted Renault Triber, and the upgraded Scorpio N. However, the story doesn’t end here, as a plethora of more launches and unveils are scheduled for August 2025.
Let’s have a look at all the cars that are expected to be launched or debut in August 2025.

Volvo XC60 Facelift

The facelifted Volvo XC60 will be the first model to be launched in August 2025. It is expected to get a restyled exterior, along with a new theme for seat upholstery and added features over the existing model.
Underneath the hood, the SUV is likely to retain the ongoing 2-litre mild-hybrid turbo-petrol engine (250PS/350Nm), mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Mercedes-Benz AMG CLE 53 Coupe

Mercedes has confirmed that it will bring the AMG CLE 53 Coupe to our shores on August 12, 2025. This will be the second CLE model in India after the CLE 300 Cabriolet.
This high-performance coupe will be powered by a 3-litre, inline 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. It produces roughly 449PS of max powet and 560Nm of peak torque, enabling the coupe to hit the 100 kmph mark from standstill in just 4.2 seconds before attaining an electronically-limited top speed of 250 kmph. This can be further increased to 270 kmph with the AMG Performance Package.
It will use the AMG Speedshift 9-speed automatic gearbox and Merdeces’ 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.
We expect it to be priced from around Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom).
VinFast VF7

Vietnamese EVmaker VinFast will introduce its first offering in India in the form of VF7 electric SUV, with an expected price around Rs 50 lakh. Its pre-launch bookings are now open and it will be brought to our shores via the CKD route.
It is expected to be offered in two variants: FWD and AWD, both equipped with a 70.8kWh battery pack. The FWD variant will produce 204PS of max power and 310Nm of peak torque, while the dual-motor AWD trim will generate 350PS and 500Nm.
Once launched, it will lock horns with the BYD Sealion 7, Kia EV6 and the long-wheelbase BMW iX1.
Renault Kiger Facelift

Renault’s sub-4m SUV, the Kiger, is set to get a mid-life facelift update, which will feature a reworked front grille, new bumpers & alloys, and updated LED lighting setup. It is also expected to receive a new cabin theme, along with a host of new features.

Mahindra VISION Concepts
