Soon after launching the 2021 iteration of its flagship Apache RR 310, TVS Motor Company is now gearing up to launch two new 125cc offerings on September 16. While the company is close-lipped about these upcoming offerings, rumours are suggesting that this could be the most-awaited Jupiter 125 scooter and the Fiero 125 commuter motorcycle, given that TVS had filed a trademark for this name last year.

While details are scarce at the moment, the Fiero 125 could be a more youthful & sporty-looking motorcycle, whereas the Jupiter 125 is likely to get a new design that will make it look distinct from its 110cc counterpart. Reports are also suggesting that the fuel tank of the new Jupiter will be located under the floorboard and the fuel lid will be placed at the back of the front apron, helping it to create more underseat space.
Powering the TVS Jupiter 125 could be the same 124.8cc 3-valve engine as the NTorq 125, albeit in a lower state of tune that will help it to get better fuel efficiency. On the other hand, the Fiero 125 is expected to employ the 11PS 124.5cc single-cylinder fuel-injected motor and will be positioned above the TVS StaR City + in the brand's product lineup.
Acknowledging the fact that TVS products are usually lavish with features, we can presume both these products to come with an LED headlamp, a semi-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, and side-stand engine cut-off features.
Expect both of these new TVS offerings to be priced at around Rs 73,000 (ex-showroom). Once launched, the TVS Jupiter 125 will lock horn with the Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125, while the Fiero will be positioned against the Honda SP125, Hero Glamour 125, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 125.
