The TVS Motor Company has finally launched the Orbiter electric scooter in India at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru, including PM e-drive subsidy). With a boxy, practical design and a wider, longer frame, the Orbiter is built to cater to everyday family commuting needs without compromising on comfort or features.
TVS Orbiter: Design and Features
Designed for family buyers, the TVS Orbiter sports a distinctive boxy and futuristic design, setting it apart from traditional family scooters. Its sharp LED headlamp, integrated windshield and sleek handlebar mirrors give the scooter a modern and robust appeal. Furthermore, the body panels feature clean, geometric lines and subtle creases for a bold, urban look.
The scooter also boasts 165 mm ground clearance, 290 mm flat footboard, and a 14-inch front wheel and 12-inch rear wheel combo.

What further stands out are the clear-glass windscreen, USB charging port with an easy-access storage box, 845mm flat seat, and a spacious 34-litre underseat boot, which is capable of storing two helmets, further complementing its user-friendliness and making it ideal for grocery trips or weekend outings.
The TVS Orbiter also gets amenities like cruise control, hill hold assist, reverse assist and a coloured digital\ instrument cluster with connectivity and smart features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation assist, live location tracking, geofencing, time fencing, fall detection and OTA updates support.
TVS Orbiter: Battery and Range
Equipped with a 3.1 kWh battery, the TVS Orbiter claims an IDC range of 158 km on a single charge. However, powertrain specifications, as well as charging details, are yet to be confirmed.

Colour Options
TVS has offered the Orbiter in six vibrant colour options: Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper.
