- A new TVS streetfighter is under development.
- It is likely to be revealed at the TVS Moto Soul festival in Goa in early March 2023.
- Could share the same 310cc engine with supersport Apache RR 310.
TVS Motor Company is reportedly working on a new streetfighter based on the same 310cc platform as the Apache RR 310. Likely to be named TVS Apache RTR 310, the upcoming model is expected to draw inspiration from the BMW G 310 R and Draken concept that was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. It is expected to be revealed at the upcoming TVS Moto Soul festival in Goa which will take place from March 3rd to 4th, 2023.
Powering the upcoming TVS naked streetfighter will be the same 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the Apache RR 310 supersport bike. This engine makes 34PS and 28Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch.

The roadster is expected to be based on a tubular space frame. However, the bikemaker is likely to retune the engine for a better mid-range output. The bikemaker could also make some hardware-related changes when compared to the BMW R 310 R.
When it comes to features, the upcoming TVS Apache RTR 310 roadster is likely to be equipped with an LED lighting system, a coloured TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, multiple riding modes, electric throttle Ride by Wire technology, adjustable brake & clutch levers, dual-clutch Antilock Braking System (ABS), traction control system and much more.

Expect the TVS’ version of the BMW G 310 R could be priced from around Rs 2.45-2.5 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an affordable alternative to the Honda CB300R (Rs 2.78 lakh), KTM 390 Duke (Rs 2.97 lakh) and of course, its BMW sibling, the G 310 R (Rs 2.75 lakh).
