Maruti Baleno, Ertiga and XL6 Upgraded With New Features

Maruti Suzuki has rolled out a set of upgrades for the Baleno, Ertiga and XL6. All three offerings gets a host of new connectivity features. Here are the details: –

  • The SmartPlay Pro and Pro+ infotainment systems in these aforementioned models now offer wireless integration support for the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It was connected through wire until now.
  • The heads-up display (HUD) avaiable on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets turn-by-turn navigation assist function. Additionally, the turn-by-turn navigation will now also be displayed on the MID of Baleno, Ertiga and XL6
  • Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6 also recieve acoustic tuning ‘Surround Sense’ powered by Arkamys.
  • These upgrades will be offered to both existing & new customers of Maruti Baleno, Ertiga and XL6. Existing customers will get these features via an over-the-air (OTA) update. Customers can install these updates via their smartphones or download them from Maruti Suzuki’s website.

In other news, Maruti Suzuki has recently updated the Swift mid-size hatch with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard fitment. The carmaker is also gearing up to launch the Baleno-based Fronx crossover and the 5-door Jimny in the coming months. Bookings for both SUVs are already underway. Apart from that, Maruti Suzuki is also planning to launch six electric vehicles (EVs) by 2030. Click here for more details.
