Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched the Thruxton 400 in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2,74,137. It is built on the brand’s locally developed 400cc platform under the Bajaj-Triumph partnership, bringing authentic café racer aesthetics and enhanced dynamics to the segment.

Triumph Thruxton 400: Distinctive Café Racer Design

  • Classic Styling: Features a half bikini fairing inspired by larger Thruxton models, paired with clip-on handlebars and bar-end mirrors for a sporty, aggressive stance.
  • Upgraded Details: Comes with black upside-down front forks (USD) replacing the gold ones found on the Speed 400, redesigned rectangular tail-light, and brushed aluminium accents on side panels.
  • Rider Comfort: Rear-set footpegs and a slightly leaned-forward riding ergonomics suit its café racer character.
  • Single-Tone & Seat: Standard single-seat arrangement with a removable cowl that reveals a pillion seat, complemented by a black grab rail.
  • Color Options: Available in Lava Red, Metallic Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Pearl White, each with a distinctive diagonal contrasting stripe.

The Triumph Thruxton 400 introduces classic café racer styling combined with modern performance and features, making it a standout premium choice in India’s growing mid-capacity motorcycle segment. Its blend of retro appeal, enhanced power, and advanced components aims to attract enthusiasts seeking style and substance at an accessible price. For bike lovers wanting a blend of heritage and modernity in a compact motorcycle, the Thruxton 400 looks set to carve a strong niche in India’s café racer market.
