Toyota Pauses Reservations For Innova Hycross ZX and ZX(O) Hybrid Models

Toyota India has again stopped accepting bookings for the Innova Hycross’s range-topping ZX and ZX(O) Hybrid variants. While the carmaker hasn’t revealed details for halting reservations, it’s probably due to high waiting periods. Currently, the hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross command a waiting period of up to 14 months.

Bookings for other Innova Hycross variants, including the VX and VX(O) hybrid variants, are still open. The top-spec variants of the Toyota Innova Hycross Zx and ZX (O) hybrid models are priced between Rs 30.34 lakh and Rs 30.98 lakh. Other variants of this premium MPV range from Rs 19.77 lakh to Rs 27.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

With Toyota pausing bookings for the higher variants of the Hycross, customers won’t be able to access the MPV’s premium features, such as 18-inch alloys, dual-zone AC, ottoman seats, a JBL sound system, ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, powered driver’s seat with memory function, and an ADAS suite. However, features like auto LED headlamps, digital cluster, 10.1-inch infotainment with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, paddle shifters, auto AC, rear AC vents, cruise control, rear retractable sunshades, auto-dimming IRVM, a panoramic sunroof, smart entry with push button start, tyre pressure monitoring, six airbags, electronic parking brakes with auto hold, ESC, 360-degree camera and front & rear parking sensors will continue to be offered with other variants. Currently, Toyota Innova Hycross has no natural rivals in the Indian market. However, it can be seen as a premium alternative to the Toyota Innova Crysta and Kia Carens.
