Back in August 2022, Toyota started accepting bookings for the Land Cruiser LC300 in India. And now the 8th-generation SUV’s on-road price has been revealed through a Toyota dealer in Delhi. The Land Cruiser LC300 is imported via the CBU route, so it comes with a hefty price tag.
The leaked image reveals that the Toyota Land Cruiser costs Rs 2.1 crore (ex-showroom), plus 12.5% road tax (Rs 26,25,000), TCS & CES charges of Rs 2,10,000 each, registration charges of Rs 10,700, and insurance charges of Rs 4,67,738, making the on-road cost in Delhi Rs 2.45 crore.

To rejig your memory, the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 is based on the TNGA-F platform and known for its exceptional all-terrain capabilities. Compared to its predecessor, it is approximately 200 kg lighter, has a lower centre of gravity, and is equipped with a higher level of frame rigidity and suspension. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) that enhances stability by adjusting the connection between the anti-roll bars. A Multi-Terrain Monitor and Multi-Terrain Select system are also part of the kit. The SUV’s speed is also maintained off-road thanks to a revised control system.
Toyota offers the Land Cruiser LC300 with a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine in India that churns out 309PS of maximum power and 700Nm of peak torque. It gets a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive system (4×4) as standard.
In the Indian market, the Land Cruiser goes up against the Land Rover Range Rover.
