Toyota Innova Hycross Crosses 50,000 Sales Milestone

Toyota Innova Hycross, launched in late 2022, has finally crossed the 50,000 sales milestone mark in the country. It is the third-generation model of the Toyota Innova MPV in India and the first to be underpinned on a monocoque chassis, opting for a front-wheel-drive (FWD) over rear-wheel-drive (RWD). In fact, it also departs from the diesel engine tradition, offering only a petrol model, paired with an optional strong-hybrid system.

Among Indian consumers, the Toyota Innova brand holds significant popularity, and despite all these changes, this sales trend persists with the latest Hycross model. Such is the extent of its appeal that the Toyota-Suzuki collaboration unveiled the Invicto, essentially a rebranded variant of the Innova Hycross. Currently, the Hycross is witnessing a wait time of around 6 months in major metro cities.
