Ather 450 Apex Enters Production Line; Deliveries To Start In March

Ather Energy launched the performance-oriented 450 Apex electric scooter last month, and now the EV maker has commenced its series production at its Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. The bookings for the Ather 450 Apex are already underway, and its deliveries are slated to begin in March 2024.

Ather 450 Apex – A Brief Overview

As mentioned above, the Ather 450 Apex is actually a heightened performance variant of the 450X, tailored for enthusiasts in search of an exhilarating electric scooter experience. With an added dash of excitement, it holds the title as the fastest Ather scooter produced to date, featuring a 7kW motor than the regular model’s 6.4kW unit. This enables it to sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds in the new “WRAP+” mode Furthermore, it boasts an increased top speed of 100 kmph, which is 10 kmph higher than that of the 450X.

It also gets a new feature called ‘Magic Twist,’ which is essentially a negative throttle for regenerative braking.

Aside from the technical specifications, the 450 Apex features an attractive colour scheme known as Indium Blue with orange wheels. Another notable aesthetic feature is the stunning transparent panels, revealing the orange frame beneath. It also benefits from an extended 5-year/60,000km battery warranty against the 3-year/30,000km warranty on the 450X.
