Exterior
- The Invicto is based on the same TNGA-C monocoque platform as the Toyota Innova Hycross.
- Design-wise, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto looks primarily similar to the Innova Hycross, save for minor cosmetic changes, such as a slightly different grille with horizontal chrome slats, Nexa’s three-block signature DRLs, slightly updated bumpers and newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels.
- The MPV also incorporates Nexa’s distinctive three-block design in its LED tail lights.
- In terms of dimensions, Invicto is identical to the Innova Hycross, measuring 4,755mm long, 1,850mm wide, and 1,795mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,850mm.
Interior and Features
- The Invicto sports the same cabin layout as its donor model. However, it dons an all-black with Champagne Gold accents instead of Innova’s black-and-brown interiors with silver highlights.
- When it comes to features, the new Maruti MPV gets the following bits: –
Comfort & Convenience | Safety |
– Dual-zone climate control – Ventilated front seats – Power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function – 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system – Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay – Connected car tech – Panoramic sunroof – Semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch TFT MID – Leather upholstery | – Six airbags – ABS with EBD – 360-degree camera – Front & rear parking sensors – ISOFIX anchors – Vehicle Stability Control – Hill start assist – Electronic parking brake |
- Compared to its Toyota counterpart, the Invicto misses out on the powered 2nd-row Ottoman seats, premium JBL sound system and ADAS technology.
Maruti Invicto – Engine, Gearbox and Mileage
- Underneath the hood, the Invicto houses the Toyota’s 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine mated to a self-charging strong-hybrid system that generates a combined output of 186PS and 206Nm, enabling it to complete the century sprint in just 9.5 seconds.
- It comes mated to an e-CVT automatic transmission that powers the front wheels of the MPV.
- Maruti claims that the Invicto is capable of returning a fuel efficiency (mileage) of about 23.24 kmpl.
- Maruti has skipped the non-hybrid engine option from the Innova Hycross.
Competitors
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto doesn’t have any direct rival. It will lock horns with its done model, the Toyota Innova Hycross.
