Toyota Glanza Gets Prestige Accessory Package; Six Airbags Now Standard

Toyota India has made six airbags a standard fitment across all variants of the Glanza, enhancing safety for both the driver and the passengers. The brand has also introduced a new Prestige accessory package for the premium hatch.

To enrich the ownership experience, the Toyota Glanza will now come with a dealer-fitted Prestige accessory package for a limited period. This comprises seven premium-looking cosmetic upgrades inside and out to enhance the overall appearance of the hatch. These include: –

  1. Premium door visors
  2. Body side moulding with chrome and black accents
  3. Rear lamp garnish
  4. Chrome garnishes for side mirrors and fenders
  5. Rear skid plate
  6. Illuminated door sills
  7. Lower grille garnish

Other Features

Aside from the above-mentioned changes, the Toyota Glanza remains unchanged. It will continue to be offered in four variants: E, S, G and V, with key features including automatic LED projector headlamps, dual-tone machine-cut alloys, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, coloured MID, height-adjustable driver’s seat, a heads-up display, auto AC, rear AC vents, tilt-&-telescopic steering, auto-dimming IRVM, a 360-degree camera, traction control, vehicle stability control, hill hold assist and much more.

Powertrain

Powering the Toyota Glanza is a 1.2-litre K-series, Dualjet DualVVT petrol engine that can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT unit. It claims a fuel efficiency of up to 22.49 kmpl with petrol and 30.61 km/kg with the CNG.

Price and Rivals

The Toyota Glanza is priced between Rs 6.90 – 10 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.
