Toyota Fortuner Prices Increased By Rs 68,000

Weeks after introducing the mild-hybrid version of the Fortuner, Toyota has now increased prices of the SUV’s select variants by up to Rs 68,000. With this, it now ranges between Rs 36.05 lakh and Rs 52.34 lakh (ex-showroom). Here’s the revised price list: –

Toyota has increased the prices of the petrol variant by Rs 68,000, while all the other variants have become dearer by Rs 40,000 each.

Powering the Toyota Fortuner is either a 2.7-litre turbocharged petrol or a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel mill. While the petrol mill is only available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, the diesel mill gets both 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options. The diesel mill is also available with 4×4 drivetrain option.

Depending on the variant, the Toyota Fortuner comes equipped with amenities like automatic LED projector headlamps, dual-tone alloys, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, MID display, front ventilated seats, 11-speaker JBL sound system, leather seats, rear AC vents, 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill-hold assist, ISOFIX anchors and much more.

In the Indian market, the Fortuner takes on the likes of Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster, and the petrol-only Skoda Kodiaq.
