Tork Motors has now finally commenced the series production of the Kratos electric bike, with a monthly production target of 500 units. Deliveries of the e-motorcycle are expected to begin soon through its franchises. In the electric two-wheeler space, the Tork Kratos goes up against the Revolt RC400 and Oben Rorr.
For those who aren’t aware, the Tork Kratos was launched in January this year. It comes in two variants: Standard and R, having distinguishable outputs, features, and color options. While the former costs Rs 1,07,999, the latter is pegged at Rs 1,22,999 (both prices ex-showroom Pune, FAME2 and state subsidies).
Powering the Tork Kratos is an in-house developed axial flux motor, mated to a 4kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Offered with three riding modes (Eco, City, Sports), the Kratos is claimed to deliver a real-world range of 120km (in Eco mode) on a single charge. It can sprint from 0-40 kmph in just 3.5 seconds before attaining a top speed of 105kmph. Meanwhile, if you dry up its juice, it can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in around one hour via a fast charger. However, the regular home charger will take approximately 4-5 hours to juice it up 100 percent.
The Kratos is extremely well loaded with features such as an LED headlight setup, split seat, USB power socket, three riding modes, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, OTA updates support, regen braking, reverse mode, and disc brakes with CBS (Combined Braking System), walk assist, etc. Click here for more details.
