Top 8 Cars To Watch Out In November 2022

The last few months have seen a number of exciting new car launches, including the Tiago EV, Grand Vitara, Hyryder, and more. And now, for the month of November, many carmakers like Jeep, Toyota, MG, and Maruti Suzuki are gearing up to launch a few more existing offerings. Here are the top 8 cars/SUVs that are likely to launch/unveil in November 2022: –

1. Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep India has already confirmed the launch of the 5th-gen Grand Cherokee in November 2022. The SUV will be brought to our shores via the CKD route, with assembly to be undertaken at the brand’s Ranjangaon plant. The full-size premium SUV will come packed with features like a digital driver’s screen, a large 10.1-inch touchscreen central display, an optional touchscreen infotainment on the co-driver side, powered front seats with memory function, a head-up display, a 19-speaker McIntosh sound system, panoramic sunroof and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). 2. Toyota Innova Hycross

The all-new Toyota Innova Hycross is set to make its global debut in November 2022, with India launch expected in early 2023. Unlike the ongoing Innova Crysta, the Innova Hycross will also be based on a new monocoque platform. It will also receive a completely overhauled design, new features and a self-charging strong hybrid powertrain.

3. MG Hector Facelift

The MG Hector’s facelift has been overdue for a while, and it might finally be here soon. The updated SUV will receive tons of cosmetic enhancements and new features, including a giant 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a radar-based ADAS safety suite. 4. Hyundai IONIQ 5

Hyundai’s highly anticipated IONIQ 5 electric SUV will likely make its India debut next month, with deliveries expected to commence in early 2023. Measuring 4,635mm long, the IONIQ 5 will be based on the Hyundai Group’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and will emphasise the brand’s ‘Parametric Dynamics’ and luxurious ‘Living Space’ theme. Expect it to come in with two battery packs:  58kWh and 72.6kWh, with ranges of 384km and 481km, respectively. 

5. Pravaig SUV

The Bengaluru-based start-up company, Pravaig, has already announced to reveal an electric SUV on November 25 that will have a range above 500km and a top speed of over 200kmph.

6. Force Gurkha 5-door

Revealed by recent spy images, the 5-door iteration of the Force Gurkha has started reaching dealerships, suggesting its launch is just around the corner. Compared to the ongoing model, the 5-door Gurkha will possess a longer wheelbase and three rows of seating with multiple layouts. However, no changes are expected underneath the bonnet.

7. Maruti Alto K10 CNG

CNG variants of the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 are scheduled to go on sale soon, probably in November or December 2022. Similar to the recently updated S-Presso CNG, the Alto K10 will get the same 56.69PS/82.1Nm 1.0-litre DualJet petrol engine, paired with a factory-fitted CNG kit that claims a fuel efficiency of 32.73km/kg. Expect Alto K10 CNG variants to command a premium of around Rs 95,000 over their corresponding petrol-only trims.

8. Maruti Brezza CNG

Currently, the sub-4-meter SUV segment doesn’t have any CNG offerings in the Indian market. However, Maruti Suzuki is working on a CNG counterpart of the Brezza, and it could hit the markets in the coming weeks.
