New-Gen Kia Seltos 2026
- Launch Date: January 2, 2026
- Expected Price: Rs 11.5-21 lakh (ex-showroom)

The recently unveiled second-generation Kia Seltos is all set to be launched on January 2, 2026. The brand has already revealed almost every detail about the SUV, including the SUV’s new design, variant lineup and features. While its powertrain options are still the same as the older Seltos, it is expected to be hybridised by 2027, like the Maruti Grand Vitara, Victoris and Toyota Hyryder.
Its bookings are now underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000, while deliveries are slated to commence in mid-January.

Kia Syros EV
- Expected Launch: First half of 2026
- Expected Price: Rs 15-18 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Kia Syros will go all-electric next year. While it is not official, it is expected to get the same 42kWh and 49kWh battery packs as the Hyundai Inster sold globally, which claims WLTP certified range of 300km and 355km, respectively.
Going by the spy shots, the Syros EV is expected to look largely the same as its ICE version, save for some minor cosmetic changes.
We expect Kia to launch the Syros EV in Q2 2026, with prices likely to range between Rs 15-18 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia Sorento
- Launch Date: H2 2026
- Expected Price: Starting from Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Kia Sorento is a 4.8-meter-long, three-row SUV, positioned above the Seltos in the brand’s global lineup. It is known for its bold SUV styling, premium cabin and family-focused experience with better space, comfort and technology.
Globally, the Sorento is available with multiple engine options, including a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol with hybrid and plug-in-hybrid, and a 2.2-litre diesel. It comes in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options.
Kia is expected to launch the Sorento in the second half of 2026. Once launched, it will go up against the Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Meridian, with prices likely to start from around Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).
