Mahindra Automotive has finally teased the long-awaited XUV300 Sportz with the tagline “0-Thrill In A Blink Of An Eye”, suggesting that boosted performance will be on offer.
Going by the model showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, the Mahindra XUV300 Sprotz will be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with direct injection technology (TGDi) instead of the ongoing MPFI engine that will make it 20PS/30Nm more powerful & torquey than the ongoing petrol model. For reference, the existing Mahindra XUV300 petrol makes 110PS and 200Nm. Currently, the sub-4m SUV also comes with a 117PS 1.5-liter diesel engine option. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and AMT.

Inside, the new Mahindra XUV300 Sportz is likely to feature an all-black color scheme with a contrasting red color accent. We expect the SUV could also receive the brand’s new AdrenoX infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity. Besides, features like an electric sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, all-wheel disc brakes, up to six airbags, ESP, front & rear parking sensors, corner braking control, etc., will continue to be on offer.
