Hyundai Venue N-Line Likely To Be Launched On September 6

After the launch of facelifted Venue sub-4m SUV in June this year, Hyundai Motors is now gearing up to introduce its sportier N-Line version in India. It is expected to be launched on September 6, 2022. With this, it will become the second Hyundai car in India after the i20 to get N-Line treatment.

Hyundai Venue N Line: Variants and Powertrain Options

As we have reported earlier, Hyundai is likely to offer the Venue N-Line in two variants: N6 and N8, both will be powered by the 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder, T-GDi turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 120PS and 172Nm. Unlike the i20 N-Line which gets both DCT and iMT (clutchless manual) unit, the Venue N Line is expected to come only with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

Design, Features, and Performance Enhancements

Similar to the i20 N Line, the Hyundai Venue N Line is also expected to get aggressively-styled bumpers, new alloy wheels with red brake calipers, a sportier spoiler, and twin exhaust tips. It will also flaunt plenty of red color highlights to denote its sporty character.

Inside, the SUV could feature an all-black cabin with red color highlights & stitching, N-specific upholstery, steering & gear knob, and metal-finished pedals.

The Korean carmaker is also expected to offer the Venue N Line with a stiffer suspension setup, bassy exhaust note, and reworked steering feedback for enhanced driving performance.

Expected Price

We assume the Venue N Line to command a premium of around Rs 50,000 over its regular turbocharged DCT variants that currently range between Rs 10.97 lakh to Rs 12.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
