Tata Sierra To Get Triple Screens, Panoramic Sunroof; Launch on Nov 25

Tata Motors has officially teased the interior of the production-spec 2025 Tata Sierra, ahead of its global debut on November 25. The latest teaser confirms some key highlights — including a panoramic sunroof, a triple-screen dashboard layout, and a premium cabin design that blends modern tech with Sierra’s classic charm. This marks a major step towards the rebirth of one of India’s most iconic SUVs in an all-new avatar.

Tata has clearly focused on creating an upscale environment. This modern-day layout includes a central infotainment touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, and a dedicated co-passenger entertainment screen, giving the cabin a truly high-tech, connected-car feel.

The front seats look plush and well-bolstered, promising good support and comfort, while the rear seats come with three individual headrests — even the middle passenger gets one. Tata has also added a panoramic sunroof, confirming yet another feature that buyers in this segment love. One can also spot the hooks on the rear windows, designed to accommodate clip-on sunshades.

Aside from the above-mentioned equipment, Tata is also expected to offer amenities like powered and ventilated front seats, a premium JBL sound system, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, and multi-colour ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and a Level-2 ADAS suite for enhanced driver assistance.

Expected Powertrain

The Sierra will be equipped with he brand’s all-new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is likely to produce 170PS of max power and 280Nm of peak torque. It is expected to be offered with both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). It is also expected to get the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Expected Price and Rivals

We expect the 2025 Tata Sierra to be priced from around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it against the Maruti Victoris/Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
