Beginning with the Altroz premium hatchback, its Dark Edition is based on the fully-loaded petrol XZ+ variant that is available with 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol (86PS/113Nm) and 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (110PS/140Nm) engines. Both mills come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Compared to the standard model, the Altroz Dark Edition comes finished in a Cosmo Dark paint scheme with blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels, skid plates, ORVMs, and model badging. It also gets the #Dark emblem on the side fender.

The cabin also flaunts darkened theme (Granite Black) with metallic gloss black finishing on the dashboard and dark leatherette seats with deep Blue Tri-arrow patterns and deco blue stitching along with #Dark embroidered into the headrests.

The Nexon EV Dark Edition, on the other hand, gets Midnight Black outer shade and retains its blue highlights around the fog lamps, front air dam, and EV badging that gives it a distant identity from the regular Nexon. However, the blue beltline has been replaced by satin black inserts. The blacked-out theme with blue highlights carries to the interior as well.

The Nexon EV Dark is based on the XZ+ and XZ+ Lux variants. However, compared to the standard XZ+ trim, the Nexon EV Dark XZ+ model also gets some additional features like rear seat central armrest with cup holders, 60:40 rear seat split, and adjustable rear seat headrest, which are already standard with the top-spec XZ+ Lux variant.

The Nexon EV will continue to be powered by the ongoing 30.2 kWh Li-ion battery pack that drives the permanent magnet synchronous motor (129PS/245Nm), capable of delivering a claimed range of 320kms on a single charge.
