How the Harrier Dark Editions are different from the standard trims?

The Harrier's Dark Edition is all about cosmetic enhancement. It gets an exclusive black shade on the exterior as well as inside the cabin. Tata offers an R17 Blackstone diamond cut alloys wheels, a Blackstone matrix dashboard with Gunmetal Grey chrome pack, and premium Benecke Kaliko Blackstone leather upholstery with the Dark Editions to make it look stealthier.

As far as the features are concerned, the Harrier Dark Editions do not get any additional features compared to the variants on which they are based. The key features of the XT and XT+ Dark Editions include automatic projector headlights, front fog lamps, dual function LED DRLs, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play connectivity, push engine start/stop button, auto climate control, rear AC vents, steering-mounted audio controls, rain-sensing wipers, etc. Additionally, the XT+ trim also gets a panoramic sunroof.

Engine & gearbox options

Like other variants of Harrier, both the new Dark Editions also house a 2.0-liter, BS6 diesel engine under the hood that develops 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. However, with these trims, the engine is only available with the 6-speed manual gearbox that transmits the power to the front wheels. It misses out the option of a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
