The Tata Curvv EV has recently been launched in India, with prices starting from Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Indian carmaker has now officially started accepting its bookings, and its deliveries will commence on August 23, 2024. Interested customers can now make their bookings either online or at their nearest Tata dealership.
What Powers The Tata Curvv EV?
The Tata Curvv EV is available with two battery choices: 45kWh and 55kWh, offering a range of up to 585 kilometres on a single charge. Here’s a look at its complete specifications: –

Regarding charging, the Curvv EV supports DC fast charging of up to 70kWh, allowing its battery to charge from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes. For home charging, it offers a 7.2kW AC charger which takes around 6.5 hrs to juice up its 45kWh battery pack from 10 to 100 per cent, while the 55kWh battery pack takes around 8 hours for the same.

Price and Rivals
The Tata Curvv EV ranges between Rs 17.40 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against the MG ZS EV. It will also face competition from the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti eVX.
