After Maharashtra, Gujarat and Kerala, the Bajaj Freedom 125 is now available for sale in Delhi, with prices ranging from Rs 94,995 to Rs 1,09,997 (ex-showroom). All three variants of the world’s first CNG bike will be sold in the national capital.

The Bajaj Freedom is a 125cc, air-cooled engine that makes 9.5PS of max power at 8,000rpm and 9.7Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. It features a 2kg of CNG tank which claims over 200km of range. It also boasts a 2-litre reserve petrol tank with a mileage of 65 km/litre. The bike has a service interval of 5,000 kilometres.

Based on the robust trellis frame, Bajaj claims that rigorous and comprehensive safety testing has been conducted on the Freedom 125 bike, particularly focusing on the resilience of the CNG kit. This includes a variety of crash tests such as frontal, rear, and side collisions, as well as extreme scenarios like being run over by a truck and pendulum impact assessments.

Bajaj also asserts that Freedom is designed to handle rough terrain. It boasts telescopic forks upfront and a linked mono-shock suspension with a double-rate spring, enhancing stability and riding comfort.

Regarding features, the Freedom 125 bags an LED headlamp with DRLs, alloy wheels, an engine crash guard, the segment’s largest single-piece seat, digital rider’s display with Bluetooth-based smartphone connectivity support, call/SMS alert, call receiving switch, gear position indicator, real-time mileage indicator, and Combined Braking System (CBS).
