With the new year 2023, the prices of Tata cars are set to go up. This hike is intended to offset the impact of commodity prices, as well as conform to the second phase of the BS6 emission standards coming into effect on April 1, 2023. The quantum of the price hike is unknown at the moment; however, it will vary depending on the model and variant.
Tata’s current lineup prices are as follows: –

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director – Passenger Vehicle and Electric Vehicles, Tata Motors, said that “The regulatory change will have its impact on the cost. Even the real impact of softening of commodity prices is only going to come from next quarter, and we still have the residual impact of the commodity escalation that we have seen during the year”.
