Suzuki Motorcycles India is all set to launch a new 125cc scooter tomorrow that will take on the TVS NTorq 125 and Honda Grazia directly. The brand has recently shared a teaser video of the upcoming product, revealing some interesting details about its design and features.
Going by the teaser, the new Suzuki scooter will boast a sport appearance, featuring prominently keen cuts and ridges over its body panels. It will have a trapezoidal LED headlight mounted on the lower side of the dual-toned front apron, whereas the bulb-type side indicates will be situated on the handlebar cowl. At the rear, it will get twin triangular tail lamps along with conventional turn indicators to give it a motorcycle-like appearance.
The teaser also confirms that it will receive a stubby muffler, an engine kill switch integrated with an engine start button, and a multifunction fully-digital instrument cluster similar to the Burgman Street 125. We expect it to get Bluetooth-based connectivity support as well.
While the engine specifications are scarce at the moment, Suzuki could employ its dependable 124cc motor from Access 125 and Burgman Street in this new scooter. However, it could be tuned differently to suit the sporty character of the scooter.
Expect Suzuki to price the upcoming two-wheeler from around Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom).
